This is going to end badly, isn’t it?

— Robert “Verus” Goddard

This is the first post on my new blog. Here I’ll be writing Commentary on the entirety of the Battle Spirits series, with each episode Documented with Images, Commentary, Memes and of course, Deck Discussion and Interesting Gameplay, I’ll even recreate the gamestates and decks incase the topic comes up using Vassal! So stay tuned for it!

My name is Robert Goddard, Online my handle is “Verus” but as that is usually too short a name, I’ll tag on “Arma” at the start of it. But in the Battle Spirits Community I’m known as “BlackAce”, a loving user of the now extinct site of “tradecardsonline”, if you google it you’ll probably find the following page

Fortunately, there has been development on a Battle Spirits Module for Vassal, which allows me to play Battle Spirits to my Heart’s content. Thank god for the English Community.

Why do this?

• Because I thoroughly enjoy the Battle Spirits anime more than any other Card Game anime, and often times, normal anime, and I want to share that with everyone.
• And also there are lots of moments in Battle Spirits that are absolutely hilarious to consider, and I want to bring those moments to those who care to read it.

I hope to at least give you something that you can read while on a bus, through the sake of humor, do be wary though as I will not be filtering my language throughout the Archive, once I am done with a series I will make what I’ll call Parent Posts which will be designed for easy links to each post. And a Parent Post for the Parent Post when I complete the anime.

But of course, since this is out of the way!

Gate Open! Release!

Was that too corny?
